John Goff is Co-Head of Investment Banking, Asia ex-Japan.
Prior to his current role, John was Global Head of CF&S Solutions and Head of Client Financing and Solutions, Asia ex-Japan. In his Client Financing and Solutions (CF&S) roles, John and his team were responsible for driving development of our solutions and non-traditional capabilities by bringing our Global Finance and Structuring Finance expertise into an integrated, client focused business line.
John joined Nomura in October 2008 as part of the Lehman Brothers acquisition. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, he worked in Merrill Lynch's Hong Kong office, structuring for corporate and institutional clients. John began his career in the Infrastructure Finance Ratings group at Standard & Poor’s analyzing the credit risk of infrastructure and project finance transactions.
He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a concentration in Financial Engineering and a BA in Chinese Literature from Reed College.
